I noticed that in my feedback the comments primarily focused on how I am hitting a very niche market. I think this is important to recognize and try to use it to my advantage. This is the feedback I found most helpful and that I tried to push for in my elevator pitch.
Steve, I like this idea. I saw another similar to it except his idea was to set up a carpool service for getting rides to the grocery store for those students who don't have a car to haul all that stuff around. This idea seems like it would cost a lot more than the other but it also seems way more convenient. I think the hard part would be detailing all the grocery inventory for a student to choose from. For me it would be really hard to look at a screen for that long and pick everything I would need from a grocery store. As far as your pitch, I think an investor would need more answers as far as your plan to make a profit. Great job! Steve, Great pitch! You seem very comfortable in front of the camera! I don't know if you know about this, but services similar to yours already exist. I have seen a lot of students pitch the same idea as you though, and maybe you guys just aren't aware of this already existing. In regard to your pitch, I do like how you're catering to students needs and offering discounts. As we all know, college is expensive and all the groceries on top of your college expensive is just stressful! I have never used a service like this because I always find time to run to Publix and I am lucky enough to have a car, but if you were to offer these discounts I would definitely consider. Good job. Steve, I think this is a cool idea. I am interested to see how it would actual work out. I know the part i hate most about grocery shopping is the meal planning process. I think it would be a really great tool to offer suggested meals that already listed, and added to your grocery list, all of the ingredients that were needed. I think this is something that would be successful in college towns and also retirement communities, since a lot of older people can't drive.
